Greenlicious Smoothie

A cleansing, fresh green smoothie made this rainy Sunday complete. It’s always handy to have banana cut into pieces in your freezer, it makes it easier to make delicious smoothies or vegan friendly ice cream. This smoothie was quite filling so it became my lunch/post workout smoothie. Delicious indeed I must say. I reckon it would be excellent for anyone suffering from a cold, as the recipe contains plenty of good ingredients. In addition a perfect breakfast option.

Ingredients:

1 frozen banana

1 dl fresh mango

1 tsp wheatgrass

1 tsp chlorella

1 tbs hemp seeds

A handful of spinach

Freshly grated ginger

A hint of turmeric

Freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 dl water/coconut water

1 dl almond milk

Instructions:

1. Cut the banana into pieces. Place in the freezer until frozen.

2. Cut 1/4 mango into pieces.

3. Place all ingredients in your blender and mix on full speed until smooth.

4. Pour the smoothie into a bowl and serve with your favourites.
