Superlicious Smoothie

Another cleansing and delicious smoothie, and it’s not even green. Despite all the spinach, wheatgrass and chlorella it looks more like a creamy nut smoothie. Don’t be fooled by the colour though. I feel I need all the vitamins I can get so this one soothed my cravings.

It tasted awfully nice, with the carrot juice, turmeric, ginger and a bunch of other stuff! Very rich in flavour, which I like. So next time you feel slightly under the weather try to dust off your blender and make yourself a Supercilious Smoothie. I bet it works wonders for both your mind and body.

Ingredients:

Half a banana

A handful of frozen raspberries

A handful of spinach

1 tsp wheatgrass

1 tsp chlorella

1 tbs hemp seeds

Freshly grated ginger

A hint of turmeric

150 g plain greek yoghurt/soy yoghurt

1.5 dl raw pressed juice (I used one with carrot, apple and orange which I bought from the store) If you have a juicer at home you can easily make your own juices.

Instructions:

1. Place all ingredients in a blender and mix on full speed until smooth and creamy.

2. Garnish with your favourites. I used raw buckwheat granola, hemp seeds, turmeric and a hint of acai powder. Delish!
