Purple love

Smoothie bowl – a tremendous meal you can vary endlessly. Perfect when it’s time for breakfast or as a 3 o’clock snack. I must say it tastes heavenly after a tough workout. Full of vitamins and minerals, just what our bodies are screaming for. You can use frozen banana or avocado. Any berries you like; blueberries (my favourites), raspberries, strawberries, lingonberries, sea buckthorn, blackberries… Boost with some superfood such as acai powder, goji powder, maca, lucuma powder, baobab, spirulina, kelp, wheatgrass… Yes, there are plenty to choose from. And then you need some kind of liquid; coconut water, almond milk, rice milk, hazelnut milk etcetera. Sometimes I like to add a couple of tablespoons greek yoghurt for that extra creamy and smooth texture. I used the following ingredients for my purple beauty: 1 banana 1 tbs nut butter 2 tbs shredded coconut 2 dl blueberries 1 tbs hemp seed 1 tbs goji powder 2 big tbs greek yoghurt/soy yoghurt 1 dl almond milk A hint of cinnamon Instructions: 1. Eat the rainbow

Think colours of the rainbow when you eat. The more different colours, the better. Beetroot. Kale. Spinach. Carrots. Blueberries. Oranges. Wheatgrass. Raspberries. Red, purple, green, orange, blue, yellow. Eating from all colour groups will ensure you with a wide range of vitamins, minerals and nutrients. A little reminder next time you put food on your plate. Easter candy

Healthy and delicate Easter candy. Cacao and goji are such a nice couple, and together with coffee they make a magnificent trio. These beauties are suitable for those who are allergic to nuts, gluten and milk. In addition they don’t contain any white sugar. You know, the Easter Bunny thinks of everyone. Coffee, cacao & goji bliss balls. Ingredients: (approx. 12 bliss balls) 2.5 dl gluten free oats 8 chopped dates 3 big tbs raw cacao powder 1 tbs goji powder 4-5 tbs coconut butter 3 tbs strong black coffee (preferable espresso) A hint of vanilla powder Instructions: 1. Place the ingredients in your blender or food processor and mix until combined. 2. If you’re blender doesn’t do the work you can put the mixture in a bowl and mix with a spoon or with your hands. 3. Form the mixture to small bliss balls and roll in raw cacao powder, shredded coconut, wheatgrass, goji powder or hemp seed. 4. Store in the fridge before serving. Have a wonderful Easter! /Linda
