It’s important to treat oneself once in a while. Take time to sit back and enjoy the moment – the silence, the sound of the ocean, your dog snoring or rain splashing against the window. There are many ways to enjoy life and to treat oneself. Sleeping in, eating breakfast in bed, taking a walk, playing with your kids or dog, cooking with someone, reading the newspaper without being interrupted, working out, listening to your favourite song or simply having fresh strawberries with nutella in bed a Friday morning. Choose the things that make you feel energized and complete.
A few of my favourite things to do is taking a morning walk preferably with a coffee in my hand, having breakfast in bed, laughing together with my loved ones, cooking, photographing and working out. These things give me well needed energy and helps me feel alive.
