Acai bowls

My all time favourite (together with avocado toast). This yummie bowl of goodness is filled with loads of healthy ingredients that nourishes the body and keeps you satisfied for many hours ahead 😉 Perfect for breakfast, for lunch on a warm and sunny day, as a post-workout meal or simply when you crave something sweet. The ones you buy at cafe’s can be filled with plenty of sugar so it’s perfect if you can make your own bowls at home. Happy mixing!

Acai bowl

Ingredients:

1 frozen banana 

50 g frozen acai or 2 tbsp acai powder

1 dl blueberries

1 tbsp unsweetened and organic almond butter

A hint of vanilla powder

A dash of unsweetened almond milk

Additional: Organic vegan protein powder such as hemp powder or pea protein powder

Instructions:

  1. Place all ingredients in your blender and mix on full speed until smooth and creamy.
  2. Pour into a bowl and top with all your favourites. Enjoy!
