Motivational Mantras

She possesses a peaceful confidence that screams power. She is humble, but fierce. She is stable, with a rebellious soul. She is loving, but far from naive. She chooses her struggles wisely, cause she always knew what she wanted. Dangerously intelligent she’s prepared to fight. And when that time comes;fight she does.

I haven’t yet written down any actual goals for 2018. At least not any clear and precise ones. But what I’ve done is that I’ve written down how I want to feel 2018. I think that is as important as setting goals; If you know how you want to feel when you travel through life the things you want, need and long for the most will come to you more effortlessly.

Why do you want to achieve certain things? Why are they important to you? Is it just because you want to impress others, or do you want to impress yourself, improve yourself?

I’ve written down 9 life mantras that I will strive to live by this year. I’ve already been incorporating these thoughts during the past months, but I feel I need to take them more seriously – and what better way to start than writing them down.

Motivational Mantras

  1. ”Life doesn’t happen to me, it happens for me.”
Everything that happens to you happens for a reason. You can either see every setback as something negative or you can choose to see it as a chance to grow, and to get to know yourself better. To be grateful for everything you’ve been through, cause it has made you who you are. Sometimes a negative situation happens cause it’s the universe’s way of giving you the wake-up call you so desperately need. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
  2. ”I’m right where I need to be in order to get to where I want to go.”
Trust the process. Trust that you’re exactly where you need to be. Be patient, and know that you can’t rush something you want to last forever.
  3. ”Life is a playground, and shouldn’t be taken too seriously. Enjoy the ride!”
Life is meant to be enjoyed. Don’t waste your life feeling sorry for yourself. Life is amazing and you’re part of it. Take every chance you get to do the things that make you come alive. It doesn’t have to be anything huge; if you like to play the piano – play the piano, if you like to feed the poor – feed the poor, if you like to write – write. Don’t complicate things. And remember to smile. To laugh. Life should be enjoyed with pure bliss.
  4. ”Kill them with kindness.”
Kindness is power. There’s too much hatred, jealousy and negativity floating around already, we don’t need more of that. The world needs more kindness. Be kind to people although they might treat you bad – they have their own struggles. And remember, nothing a person says or do is because of you, it’s always because of them. A person that is happy and content with life doesn’t speak badly about another person. Show love to the people who treat you bad, they are probably the ones that need it the most. Remember, it requires a very strong human to be kind in every situation. Being kind doesn’t mean you’re weak; You’re above the insecurity, the hate, the jealousy. When you’re sure about yourself, confident within yourself, kindness will easily shine through you.
  5. ”I can achieve anything I set my mind to.”
If you want something bad enough you make sure you’ll get it, one way or the other. You fight for it. You work hard, and you don’t give up when it gets tough. Because baby, it will. It will most likely get tough as hell.
  6. ”The now is wow.”
The present moment is all you got. Stop complaining about your past, the negative things that happened to you. They don’t define you. When you learn to appreciate the present moment you’ll start to live life to its fullest. Know that there’s hope in the future. All these wonderful things that will come to you. You just have to be open to receiving them.
  7. ”The secret of getting ahead is getting started.”
Sometimes when I think about the things I’d like to achieve the feeling of powerlessness comes over me. It feels that the dreams are too far away. In those situation the best thing to do is to take it step by step. Every small step counts. Sometimes you just have to start and see where it will take you.
  8. ”Don’t be like the rest of them, darling.”
Comparing yourself to others is the quickest way to hell. You’ll never feel satisfied if you practise comparison. Instead think about your unique traits. How can you improve your strengths? How can you become even better at what you’re doing? You might have to gain more knowledge, to work harder. Practise the things you’d like to get better at.
  9. ”Life happens outside of my comfort zone.”
I’ve decided to take my gym and training philosophy outside the gym. Meaning that when I think I can’t do anymore, when I think I’ve had enough that’s when the growth will come. That’s when the magic starts to happen. You won’t grow if you train the same day after day, lift the same weights, do the same reps. You’ve to challenge yourself. It’s through the challenges you grow, both mentally and physically.

  1. Very interesting content, I was thinking in what you wrote about achieving goals, there’s some methods so you can get a clearer picture of what you want to accomplish in the first place.

    It’s called the ”5-whys method”

One of my goals is ”Be more creative at problem solving in my job”

1- Why do I want to be more creative at problem solving in my job?

Because I want to be smarter at seeing things other people do not see.

2- Why do you want to be smarter at seeing things other people do not see?

Because I want to build a better personal brand to myself.

3- Why do you want to build a better personal brand to yourself?

Because I want people to know that I am the best in what I do.

4- Why do you want people know that you are the best in what you do?

Because I want them to choose my advise to solve their problems.

5 – Why do you want people choose your advise to solve their problems?

Because I am build to do just that.

So from ”I want to be more creative at problem solving in my job” I end up at ”I am just built to help people solve their problems by my advise”

    Best Regards.
